Some of my earliest memories of Grandpa were in the green house in Croixwood. I used to sit on his lap and build models together. I’m sure I wasn’t much help. 30 plus years later, knowing his lack of patience, I find it hard to believe he built models with a toddler. The Testors plastic model glue can be blame for my slow development.
